Winter / Spring Semester (Hybrid Internship) - Radio & Music Supervision - Indie & Electronic Music (Los Angeles Area)
Unpaid Internship for College Credit
Internship Requirements:
• Currently attending a college business, marketing, or music industry program in Los Angeles
• You love supporting artists and prefer the business side of the music industry (college radio & music supervision)
• You’re passionate about electronic music, indie rock, new wave, and synth-pop
• Be a good person and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Computer & social media savvy (Adobe, Canva, DISCO, Google Sheets, IG, SoundCloud, Tiktok, YouTube)
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the work and music
• High levels of integrity and honesty
• Team player - able to work well and manage relationships with others
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment
• Excellent work ethic & punctuality is a must
• Broad and developed music expertise
• Proactive and shows initiative
What you might be doing to help the Artists & Label:
• Assist A&R/label team by sharing new music with DJs, music supervisors & radio programmers
• Assist with label album, EP & single coordination, google sheet metadata
• Correspond and communicate with existing and potential clients via email, phone & social media
• Liaising with artists, producers, and singers to schedule in-person studio sessions & zoom meetings
• Assist with updating artist & label social media & Websites (Squarespace)
• Research and stay up-to-date with the gaming, movie, radio, trailer, and TV music industry
• Create music playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube
• Running office/studio errands, shipping merch
• Help with marketing and sharing music mentorship programs
• Help artists with live & virtual events (guest list, merch & production)
